Departing Broome, your journey begins with a spectacular flight across the Dampier Peninsula and out over vast King Sound, home to Australia’s largest tidal movements and among the most powerful in the world. From the air, witness the remarkable Horizontal Waterfalls — famously described by Sir David Attenborough as “the 8th Natural Wonder of the World” — where immense tidal forces push seawater through narrow gorges in a truly mesmerising display.

Continuing on, you’ll soar above the breathtaking Buccaneer Archipelago, a maze of more than 1,000 ancient islands formed from Precambrian sandstone over two billion years ago. The flight also passes over Koolan and Cockatoo Islands, renowned for containing some of the richest iron ore deposits on the planet, adding a fascinating industrial chapter to the region’s story.

Touching down at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, you’ll step into the heart of Australia’s pearling heritage. Enjoy a guided Pearl Farm Harvest Tour, offering insight into the history of pearling in the Kimberley and the intricate process behind cultivating some of the world’s most sought-after and beautiful pearls. After your tour, relax with a delicious lunch at the on-site restaurant, followed by time to unwind or take a refreshing swim in the pool overlooking the turquoise waters.

Your return flight to Broome follows the coastline, revealing the dramatic red cliffs of Cape Leveque before tracking south along the pristine bays and beaches of the Dampier Peninsula. From above, take in sweeping views of Beagle Bay, James Price Point, Willie Creek Pearl Farm and Broome’s world-famous Cable Beach — a stunning finale to an unforgettable Kimberley adventure.
